- 2010 CCL Conference
- Featured Speaker
- Worship Leader
- Conference Cost
The CCLC is the only event that brings together 50+ plus of our camps with over 220 people to one place. You will find camps of all sizes and with a great variety of programming. The opportunities to network and share are amazing.
This event is a professional gathering but to many of us it is so much more. It is a family reunion, a place to find comfort and healing, a time to prepare and pray, a time to listen and a time to speak. This event is an opportunity to recharge and get answers and to maybe grasp hold of a greater vision.
Together we offer this time to God and pray that He shape it into what each of us needs.
Bring your Board Members, Deans, Local Ministers
One of the greatest challenges as a servant in the camp ministry is developing a board that has vision, understanding and passion for the powerful tool that we have been gifted.
This year we have added some specific workshops to help board members understand their role in Christian camping. Going to any workshop will help them see better your role.
We speak of teamwork and casting a vision - what better way then to share the CCLC with the whole team

The John Kelley Band
Web Site
Back in the fall of 1999, John became the youth minister at the Indian Creek Christian Church in Cynthiana, KY. While there, he began to lead worship for several area youth events, camps, rallies, and all the other things that worship leaders cut their teeth on. Unfortunately, it always seemed as though the band was never the same.
Fast forward to the fall of 2002. After sifting through a number of musicians, John finally decided to go “in house” and began to seek band members from within his youth program. That’s where David Bell comes into the picture. David, along with fellow student Jon Welch, started traveling with JK as he started leading at different events. David on the electric guitar and Welch on the bass.
Eventually, Ted Leith, a member of the Cynthiana Baptist Church youth group came on board as the band’s drummer. Long time friend of JK’s, Nick Wagner, rounded out the band on the electric guitar.
Within a year’s time, the group had played nearly 100 times together in playing “part time”. Nick moved the next spring to Maryland where he was able to start a new job and be closer to family.
That following summer, the guys traveled and played more than 40 dates in “part time” duty. Things were really looking up. Unfortunately, the ride was brought to a screeching halt as JK moved to Wisconsin to follow God’s
leading in youth ministry. After 4 amazing years in Kenosha, WI, John is back in KY helping to plant a new church where he and the guys (now Ted Leith, bassist, Dan Cress, violinist/keyboardist Alex Thurman, and lead guitarist, Aaron Dorton) will be leading worship each week.
God has a crazy way of bringing people back together again,
and He has truly blessed these guys with the desire to worship and lead others as well.
