NOT Camptrak! We went with Camptrak about 4 years ago and would NOT recommend it. It is a better software than we had (in house) but it has been problematic. The program is built on MS Access so it can be very picky and is full of software Gremlins that pop up at the worst times. We choose it to manage our camp registrations, rentals, and donor data.
We are leaning towards going with Circuitree Solutions or Camp Register in the future. Does anyone have any expereience with those?
Butler Springs just started using CampWise in September and it has been working for us so far. Since we havent gone through an entire summer season of registration, Im not obligated to make a recommendation to other camps. However, I would suggest that you look into this company--we found CampWise to be cheaper than others in the long run and services our needs quite well....so far...contact me for more info if needed.
We are currently using Thriva, Camp Register works well fairly expensive. Are looking pretty hard at Camp Brain. Has registration and retreat booking software.

We signed with Camp Register this week. They negotiated down to a price i was more comfortable with for a year. Started at around $6-8/camper, plus fees, etc. But we have a package for our size camp starting at $3750. The money we will save on postage, camp booklets, and our secretary spending 3 months entering in paperforms is worth that to me. It also enables us to have volunteer forms online for background checks and sell camp store items year round.
I looked at Ultracamp, Camp Brain, Authorize Net, and did demo's for all. In the end, Camp Register is a bit more expensive, but their customer service, willingness to negotiate, and they have a better product, won us over.
